PRAIRIEVILLE, LA (WAFB) - Deputies with the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office were called to four residential burglaries that happened within an hour on Monday, November 30.
All four burglaries were in the immediate vicinity of each other in the Prairieville area.
The first alarm went off shortly after noon on Paces Pointe Drive off of Hwy. 621. Deputies say the back door was kicked in Moments later, deputies responded to Graystone Avenue where a home was broken into and a television and laptop were stolen. About 13 minutes later, another alarm came from Santa Fe Trail Drive where there was forced entry into the home, but nothing was taken. Shortly after 1 p.m., deputies received another alarm from a home on Bluff Road where the back door was kicked in and a laptop was stolen.
As deputies continued the investigation, it was learned that a suspect vehicle, occupied by two people, were seen leaving the area. Surveillance video captured a white Chevrolet Impala with dark tinted windows and no license plate.
