DENHAM SPRINGS, LA (WAFB) - Four people were arrested in Denham Springs Monday after a narcotics-related search warrant was executed at a home in the 7400 block of Vincent Road.
During the search warrant, detectives found 26 dosage units of ecstasy, 12.5 grams of crack cocaine, 4.5 grams of methamphetamine, 2 grams of marijuana, 4 grams of heroin, 54 dosage units of alprazolam, 37 dosage units of hydrocodone, 4 vials of Nalozone HCI, 5 dosage units of Naloxone, 20 dosage units of Clonidine and a handgun. All narcotics seized during the search warrant were packaged for sale and the handgun was fully loaded.
The street value of the narcotics seized is believed to be approximately $4,000.
Derek Ford, 36, was arrested and charged with seven counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, illegal carrying of a weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violation. He is being held in the Livingston Parish Jail on a $450,000 bond.
Sharon Painting, 36, was arrested and charged with seven counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, and illegal carrying of a firearm. She was booked into the Livingston Parish Jail where she is being held on a $75,000 bond.
Toby Jarreau, 46, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was booked into the Livingston Parish Jail where he is being held on a $10,000 bond.
Michael Ford, age unknown, is no longer in the Livingston Parish Detention Center. He was charged with interfering with a law enforcement investigation, disturbing the peace and resisting an officer.
Deputies say $1,450 in cash and numerous drug paraphernalia items were also located during the search.
The investigation is ongoing and deputies say more charges are possible.
