    Fire investigators are looking for the person they say intentionally set a house on fire early Monday morning. Firefighters were able to keep the flames contained to the room where it started.

Investigators with the Baton Rouge Fire Department are looking for the person responsible for a house fire that happened just after midnight Wednesday morning.

Firefighters were called to the house in the 2200 block around 12:38 a.m. and the fire was under control by 1:11 a.m.

When firefighters arrived, they found smoke coming from the house and found the fire in the attic of the house. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the attic, but the rest of the house received heavy smoke damage.

The house was vacant.
