PLAQUEMINE, LA (WAFB) - Plaquemine Police say a suspect allegedly involved in a shooting on Thanksgiving is "armed and dangerous."
38-year-old Jerome Gray is wanted by the Plaquemine Police for his involvement in the Thanksgiving Day shooting death of Derick Askins.
The shooting took place on Canal Street near LA 1 about 9 p.m.
Police Chief Kenny Payne said Askins was dead when officers arrived to investigate the shooting.
Officials say Jerome Gray, also known as "Dusty", could be in the New Orleans area and is classified as a violent felon. He should be considered armed and dangerous, according to Plaquemine Police.
