With reports that Saturday's game against Texas A&M may be Les Miles' final contest with the Tigers, Southern head coach Dawson Odums shared his feelings on the situation.
"It is what it is," Odums said. "And whatever decisions people are going to make, they're going to make them. So as coaches we learn to try to gather everybody around, gather the troops together and continue to fight man. We're in the fox hole together, and the only way we get out is we go to digging. We go to fighting. Not each other, but the opponents. That's what it's all about. Everybody's been reading about it and listening about it, but it's been unfortunate that it's come to that. But I wish him nothing but the best. Great guy. Great guy. Been nothing but a friend to me."
LSU (7-3) hosts the Aggies (8-3) in Tiger Stadium Saturday, with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. on the SEC Network.
