BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A suspect wanted in Livingston Parish was not giving up easy Tuesday.
Louisiana State Police said that a trooper tried to pull 19-year-old Brady Jones Jr., of Denham Springs, over for a traffic violation around Greenwell Street in Baton Rouge. Jones did not stop and fled from troops, eventually hopping out of the vehicle and trying to make a run for it.
East Baton Rouge Sheriff's deputies joined troopers in the ground search, while a police helicopter searched from above.
Jones was finally taken into custody. He will be into the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail on charges of aggravated flight from an officer, no seat belt, and driving with a suspended license.
Jones was also had warrants from the Denham Springs Police Department for several charges including aggravated flight from an officer and auto theft.
