Embattled LSU coach Les Miles did nothing to dissuade the mounting number of detractors who want him out as LSU's coach. Miles suffered through a third consecutive loss for the first time in his 11-year stay at the school with the Tigers' 38-17 defeat at Ole Miss on Saturday.

It's the first three-game losing streak for the Tigers since 1999, when Gerry DiNardo was fired after a 2-8 start.

A disaster from the start, LSU lacked discipline and offense early, falling behind 24-0 in the second quarter. A holding penalty wiped out a 59-yard run by Leonard Fournette on the Tigers' first play from scrimmage and Trent Domingue misfired on a 27-yard field goal after a big gain on a pass play to the Heisman Trophy candidate. It was Domingue's first miss of the season after starting 10 for 10.

The Rebels rolled out to the big lead behind Chad Kelly, the JUCO quarterback that picked Ole Miss over LSU in recruiting a year ago. Kelly threw for 280 yards and two touchdowns, completing 19 of 34 passes. He ran for 81 yards and two touchdowns, including a 5-yarder that made it 17-0. After a Brandon Harris interception, Kelly found Laquan Treadwell for an 11-yard scoring strike when he was matched up one-on-one with LSU's Tre'Davious White.

Down 24-0, Harris found freshman Tyron Johnson on a 39-yard touchdown pass and the Tigers went into halftime down 24-7. LSU (7-3, 4-3) rallied in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 24-17, but like Arkansas the week before, Ole Miss (8-3, 5-2) never allowed Miles' team to get any closer than a touchdown.

Fournette had 108 yards rushing on 25 carries in defeat, his first 100-yard game since October 24 against Western Kentucky.

The Tigers had 13 penalties for 95 yards.
