BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The jury overseeing a murder trial could soon determine the fate of a capitol area rapper and two other defendants.
Samuel Nicholas, also known as rapper Mista Cain, is on trial along with Essence Dyson and Chattly Chesterfield for the second degree murder of then-18-year-old Jordan Key.
Key was shot dead in 2012 while at a red light on College Drive.
Chesterfield is beleived to be the gunman, and Dyson is suspected to have put the plan together.
The trial started last Friday, and the jury is expected to get the case soon.
