Movie filming to temporarily close parts of North Street in downtown Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Parts of a street in downtown Baton Rouge will close temporarily for a movie filming, starting Monday, November 23.

Jack Reacher 2: Never Go Back, starring Tom Cruise, will be filming in the streets of Baton Rouge.

North Street in Downtown Baton Rouge will be closed to traffic on Monday from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Baton Rouge Police will be on location, restricting and redirecting traffic before, during, and after the closures.

No parking signs will be posted on the following streets for filming:

10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20 – 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23

  • 300 and 400 blocks of North Street
  • 500 and 600 blocks of N. 3rd Street
  • 500 and 600 blocks of N. 4th Street
  • 300 and 400 blocks of Spanish Town Road (Capitol side)

10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20 – 5 p.m Tuesday, Nov. 24

  • 100 and 200 blocks of North Street
  • 500 and 600 blocks of Lafayette Street
