UNDATED - A recently released study may make you think twice about fighting the shopping crowds the day after Thanksgiving.
WalletHub reported an analysis of the best and worst items to buy on the busiest shopping day of the year showed 31 percent of Black Friday items offer no savings.
The findings coincide with 63 percent of American consumers claiming that Black Friday doesn't offer the best deals of the year.
Researchers compared the "Before Black Friday Price" and the "Black Friday Price" to determine which items are truly worth the hassle of the shopping craze.
The study found books, movies and music offer the biggest discounts on Black Friday, while jewelry provide the smallest.
Another key stat was 17 percent of the items analyzed will actually be more expensive on Black Friday than current offers from certain online retailers.
