BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell announced the arrest of four men, all on child pornography charges.
James Aucoin, 30, of Prairieville, was arrested on Friday and charged with 100 counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles and a single count of video voyeurism. Aucoin was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail.
Justin Landry, 34, of Prairieville, was arrested Friday on 15 counts of distributing pornography involving juveniles. Landry was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail.
Brad Joseph Rivere, 32, of Napoleonville, was arrested Tuesday on nine counts of distributing pornography involving juveniles. A tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children prompted the Attorney General's Cyber Crime Unit to open an investigation that led to Rivere's arrest. He was booked into the Assumption Parish Jail.
Michael Timothy Buckel, 26, of Metaire, was arrested Monday on a single count each of possessing and distributing pornography involving juveniles. Buckel was booked into the Jefferson Parish Correction Center.
If convicted, each suspect faces up to 20 years on each count of pornography involving juveniles.
