BR CHEF wins Louisiana Independent State Championship, 58-0

High school football action: Nov. 13

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A football team from Lafayette traveled to Baton Rouge Thursday night to play the title game for home school and independent Louisiana prep teams.

However, Acadiana Home School's Commandos were no match for the Patriots of Baton Rouge Christian Home Educators Fellowship.

CHEF quarterback Timothy Costa connected on a touchdown pass to Alexander Aucoin for an early 6-0 Patriots lead. Later, he scored on a quarterback keeper as the Patriots doubled their margin to 12-0.

BR CHEF came into the game a perfect 9-0 and started showing its muscle with Ethan Costa scoring on another touchdown run to make it 19-0.

Before halftime, the Patriots added two more scores, including one on the touchdown toss from Aucoin to Levi Van Valkenburg that made the score 27-0.

BR CHEF led 34-0 at the half and piled up the points in the second half.

The Patriots easily won the Louisiana Independent State Championship with a score of 58-0.
