UPDATE: Man accused of battery, attempted murder, arrested Friday

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

UPDATE: The suspect in an attempted murder case was found after being featured on WAFB's Thursday night broadcast.

Crime Stoppers received a tip that Christopher Holland was at a location on Florida Boulevard. A BRPD task force responded to the location and arrested Holland.

Holland was wanted by the BRPD for attempted second degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property, and aggravated second degree battery.

The Baton Rouge Police Department and Crime Stoppers is looking for a man accused of attempted 2nd degree murder, aggravated 2nd degree battery, and aggravated criminal damage to property.

22-year-old Christopher Holland is wanted after he allegedly struck a male victim with a garden hoe several times on August 8, 2015. 

Holland is also accused of shooting into a vehicle on October 22, 2015. The incident occurred in the 1600 block of North 48th Street at about 10:30 p.m.

The vehicle was struck by gunfire, damaging the driver's door, but not injuring the driver.

Holland is a black male, standing at 5' 9". He weighs 120 pounds and has black hair with brown eyes.
