BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A man accused of attacking his live-in girlfriend and a boy several months ago was arrested Monday.
The Baton Rouge Police Department reported Jerry Bradley Jr., 35, was taken into custody in connection with an incident that happened in March.
According to the arrest warrant, Bradley and the woman were arguing when he allegedly punched her in the face and choked her.
The document added the boy grabbed a knife and tried to stop the attack, but Bradley allegedly knocked the knife out of the boy's hand, punched him in the face and slammed his head on the ground.
The warrant also stated the punch broke the boy's fake tooth. Detectives said it has still not been fixed.
Bradley was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of domestic abuse battery and second-degree cruelty to juveniles. His bond was set at $25,000.
Detectives said Bradley has several past arrests on charges of simple battery, access device fraud, simple burglary, DWI, domestic abuse battery, second-degree battery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and aggravated assault with a firearm.
