NEW ORLEANS, LA (WAFB) - New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton said that they will sign former LSU quarterback Matt Flynn. He made the announcement on WWL Radio Monday night.

Flynn was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the seventh round in 2008. He played for the Packers for his first four seasons.
The former Tiger then signed with the Seattle Seahawks in 2012. In 2013, he was with Oakland, Buffalo and Green Bay before staying with the Packers for the 2014 season.
So far this season, Flynn has been with the New England Patriots and New York Jets.
The eight-year veteran has played in 51 games with seven starts. He completed 219 of 357 passes for 2,541 yards, 17 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
