Livingston Parish authorities looking for suspect in shooting

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office arrested two suspects and are looking for a third in connection with a November 3 shooting.

Sheriff Jason Ard says that authorities were sent to investigate a shooting in the 9300 block of Lockhart Road in Denham Springs.

When authorities arrived, they found a male suffering from a gunshot would to his upper torso. The wound was non-life threatening.

LPSO officials believe robbery to be a motive in this case. Sheriff Ard announced the arrest of Justin Slinker, 20, and Derek Tauzin, 37, in connection with this crime.

Authorities are now searching for Cullen Pitre, 23, who is wanted on Attempted second degree murder and principal to attempted armed robbery with the use of a firearm. 

Slinker was charged with attempted second degree murder and principal to armed robbery. His bond was set at $250,000.

Tauzin was charged with attempted second degree murder and armed robbery. His bond was set at $175,000.
