BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Secretary of State Tom Schedler is encouraging all Louisianians eligible to vote in the Saturday, November 21, 2015 runoff election to consider voting early.
Early voting begins on Saturday, November 7 and continues through Saturday, November 14 from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.
There will not be early voting on Sunday, November 8, and also on Wednesday, November 11 due to the Veterans Day holiday.
"Early voting is a great way to conveniently cast your ballot on your schedule instead of having to fit it in on Election Day," Secretary of State Tom Schedler said. "With turnout disappointingly low during the primary, I am strongly urging our state's voters to engage in this important election. No excuses. Get informed and cast your ballot."
Citizens who want to vote early may do so in person at their parish Registrar of Voters' Office or at other designated locations. For a complete listing of early voting locations visit: http://www.sos.la.gov/electionsandvoting/vote/voteearly/pages/default.aspx
