BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - EBRSO arrested a man accused of harassing people over the phone and claiming to be a veteran.
Deputies say Brody Romero, 32, called the claims department at Farm Bureau Insurance on October 14 and 15. He allegedly called several times throughout both days, yelling at employees and refusing to let them respond.
According to reports, Romero also "accused them of mistreating him as a United State veteran and making a mocker of his military disability of hearing loss in one ear."
Concerned for their safety, Farm Bureau employees contacted an EBRSO deputy who was working extra duty at the building.
EBRSO was able to confirm that Romero was not a member, past or present, with any branch of the military, including the National Guard.
Romero was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of false personation of a Veteran and improper telephone communications.
