NEW ORLEANS, LA (WAFB) - Despite their team falling to the New Orleans Saints, 52-49, Sunday afternoon in the Superdome, former LSU wide receivers Odell Beckham, Jr. and Rueben Randle played big for the New York Giants. The duo combined for 13 catches for 185 yards, while Beckham hauled in three touchdown receptions.
Following the game, they shared their thoughts on this weekend's huge contest between the No. 4 Tigers and No. 7 Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.
Giants' rookie defensive back and former Alabama star Landon Collins also weighed in on the epic affair. Before standing out for the Crimson Tide, Collins played for head coach Benny Saia and the Dutchtown High School Griffins.
LSU and Alabama kickoff this Saturday at 7 p.m. on WAFB.
