A Thibodaux man is facing an aggravated assault charge after allegedly attacking a relative with a baseball bat.

Nathan Robertson, 27, was arrested on October 28 after he allegedly attacked the victim while they were washing their hands at the suspect's home in the 200 block of Sanders Street.

When the victim fled to a different home in the 1400 block of Rock Street, Thibodaux Police say Robertson gave chase on a bicycle. Robertson allegedly followed the victim to the home, and attacked the victim again with the baseball bat.

Police charged Robertson with aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon and resisting an officer. Robertson is currently being held at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on a $30,000 bond.
