BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A fugitive with a long criminal history and listed as violent is wanted on battery, assault and other charges.
Greater Baton Rouge Crime Stoppers reported the Baton Rouge Police Department is trying to track down Raymond Huddleston, 37, who is accused of beating his ex-girlfriend on October 19.
Investigators said the attack left the victim with cuts to her forehead, arms, legs and face. They added as she tried to run away Huddleston allegedly pulled out a gun and pointed it at her.
He is 5'11" tall and weighs 185 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.
He is wanted on charges of domestic abuse battery, aggravated assault with a firearm, felon in possession of firearm, theft of access card and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling.
Authorities added Huddleston has been arrested 22 times. He is listed as violent, a sex offender and a convicted felon. They also stated he is one of the top 100 in the Repeat Offender Prosecution and Enhancement (ROPES) program, which requires an offender to have six arrests for felony crimes or at least two felony convictions.
