BRUSLY, LA (WAFB) - Authorities are urging the public to be on the lookout for a vehicle burglary suspect considered armed and dangerous.
The Brusly Police Department is trying to find Howard Snearl III.
Detectives said someone broke into the vehicle of a Brusly police officer Wednesday around 2 a.m.
They added cash, credit cards and the officer's personal gun were taken.
According to investigators, about 30 minutes after the burglary, surveillance cameras at the LA 1 Truck Stop showed Snearl using one of the stolen credit cards to put gas in a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro.
Police advise people who see Snearl not to approach him, but instead call the Brusly Police Department or your local law enforcement agency.
