Deputies looking for thieves who attempted to steal pickup trucks

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Detectives with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office are looking for help finding two white men who tried to steal trucks.

According to reports, the suspects attempted to steal four Ford trucks in the Industriplex area at some time between October 17 and 18.

The first vehicle was a Ford F350. It was taken from a parking lot in the 11000 block of Pennywood. However it was abandoned in the same block, feet away from the parking lot.

The second vehicle the suspects attempted to steal was a Ford F250, but they were unsuccessful.

The third vehicle was a Ford F450 which was stolen from the 9200 block of Amber Drive. It was recovered in the Industriplex area two days later.

The fourth vehicle was a white Ford F350 was taken from the 11000 block of Cloverland Avenue. The truck has not been found.

The first suspect is described as an white male around 40 to 50 years old. He was last seen wearing a camo jacket, blue jeans, work boots and a dark baseball cap.

The second suspect is described as a white male around 25 to 35 years old. He was seen in a dark color t-shirt, camo shorts and long dark socks with a band or watch on his right wrist.

Deputies believe the second suspect had a short haircut, possibly a short Mohawk with shaved side, and has tattoos on his left arm from his wrist to under the sleeve of his shirt.
