(WAFB) - WalletHub, a personal finance website, released a report Monday that puts Baton Rouge at 95th in the 2015 list of "Best and Worst Cities for Halloween."
The site said Halloween spending is expected to reach $6.9 billion this year with more than 68 million Americans buying costumes.
WalletHub compared the 100 largest U.S. cities using factors like number of candy stores per capita and average cost of a Halloween party ticket. Weather was also a key factor.
New York City ranked number 1 on the list.
