Louisiana State Police issue alert for missing 18-month-old

WESTLAKE (WAFB) -

Louisiana State Police have issued an alert for a missing 18-month old that was last seen on October 16.

Freeman Travis Powers-Messina was last seen on Houston River Road in Westlake, Calcasieu Parish. Louisiana State Police say they have reason to believe that Freeman is in "immediate danger."

The child is believed to be traveling with his biological mother, Crystal Rivera, who may be driving a light grey or silver 2008 Dodge Calibur. The vehicle has a Texas license plate that reads BD9W689.

Freeman Powers-Messina is described as an 18 month old white male with blond hair and green eyes.  He is approximately 30” tall and weighs 30 pounds.  Crystal Rivera is a 31 year old white female with brown hair and blue eyes.  She is approximately 4’9” tall and weighs 105 pounds.
