LSU ranked No. 5 in two major polls

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

After Saturday's exciting 35-28 victory over the Florida Gators, the Tigers are ranked No. 5 in both the AP and Amway Top 25 Polls.

LSU (6-0, 4-0), also received a first place vote in each poll.

The SEC has six teams in the Amway Poll and five in the AP Top 25. LSU is the highest ranked SEC team at No. 5, followed by Alabama (8,8), Florida (13,14), Texas A&M (15,16), Ole Miss (23,24) and Georgia (25).

Ohio State continues to hold the No. 1 spot in both polls.
