BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar Moore recently handed down a 25 year sentence for a man who committed multiple armed robberies in Baton Rouge.
Patrick Jamar Harris, now 21, was arrested in 2012 at the age of 17 in connection with seven armed robberies. The armed robberies happened within a three-month period.
District Attorney Moore says that the total sentence is 25 years hard labor. The majority of the sentencing came from him stealing a vehicle during an armed robbery.
Moore says that the rest of the charges against Harris were either reduced to misdemeanors or dismissed per a plea bargain.
