WEST BATON ROUGE PARISH, LA (WAFB) - The West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office is looking for the second suspect in the church burglaries in WBR and Pointe Coupee parishes.
The suspect has been identified as 29-year-old Joshua Chrystal, of Baton Rouge.
Deputies say he is on the run and hiding from law enforcement.
The sheriff's offices in Pointe Coupee Parish and WBR parishes teamed up in July to find the thieves they believe were responsible for at least five church burglaries.
One of the men accused in connection to the break-ins was arrested on October 8. A Crime Stoppers tip led to the arrest for Chris Webb.
Webb said that he is responsible for at least one of the burglaries. He was booked into West Baton Rouge Parish Jail and charged with simple burglary of a religious building
The charge of simple burglary of a religious building receives a 2 to 12 year sentence per count.
