Spinach Salad

Ingredients:

1.5 oz baby spinach leaves

1 oz. pecans

Brown sugar – as needed

Tabasco sauce – as needed

1 strip bacon, chopped

2 grape tomatoes

1 slice purple onion

1 oz. raspberry vinaigrette

 

Mise en place:

Thoroughly rinse spinach leaves. Toast pecans with brown sugar and Tabasco sauce. Chop bacon and pan fry. Slice onion.

 

Mixing:

Toss spinach with vinaigrette until leaves are lightly coated. Add pecans and bacon and toss lightly.

 

Presentation:

Plate salad and garnish with tomatoes and onion ring. Serve immediately.
