Sportsline Player of the Week: Zachary's Lindsey Scott, Scotlandville's Levi Lewis (Week 6)

Lindsey Scott (Zachary) and Levi Lewis (Scotlandville) - Sportsline Players of the Week

(WAFB) - Two amazing quarterbacks who faced off in Week 6 were honored as the Sportsline Player of the Week.

Zachary's Lindsey Scott hit 20 of 24 passes for 330 yards and 2 touchdowns, while rushing for 156 yards and three more scores.

Scotlandville's Levi Lewis was 12 of 15 passing for 306 yards and 5 touchdowns.

In an amazing back and forth affair, Zachary forced a fumble in the closing moments to hang on to beat Scotlandville, 49-46. But in the eyes of many, there was no loser especially at quarterback.

"Levi is electric," said Scott. "He's got the legs. He's got the moves, and his ball is amazing. I don't think I've seen a tighter spiral"

"Lindsey is a great guy. He's got a great personality," said Lewis. "From the football standpoint, I'm speechless about that. He's a good athlete. He's real good."

Of course there were lots of guys blocking and catching in that game, but the two gunslingers came away with the weekly honors.

This is Scott's fifth Sportsline Player of the Week award. He was a winner in Week 5 and won the other three in 2014.

Lewis has also one a Sportsline Player of the Week award before in Week 4.
