Detectives looking to identify armed robbery suspects

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Detectives with the Baton Rouge Police Department are trying to identify a man and a woman who are accused of robbing a Chevron gas station on October 6, 2015.

The armed robbery happened around 6:45 a.m. at the Chevron located at 7234 Airline Highway.

Detectives say the suspects entered the business while armed with a handgun and obtained an undisclosed amount of merchandise. The suspects then fled the business on foot.

The first suspect is described as a black female, 5'2"-5'4", 160-170 lbs, wearing a black shirt with white and black lettering, black pants and a baseball cap.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 6'2"- 6'4", 190-200 lbs, wearing a black shirt with white lettering, black pants, and a white cover over his face to conceal his identity while armed with a handgun.
