Police search for meat market armed robber

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Police have released a surveillance image in hopes it will help to find the man who robbed a meat market at gunpoint Monday evening.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reported the suspect walked into City Town Meat Market on North Acadian Thruway around 7:45 p.m.

Detectives said he was holding a handgun and demanded money. They added the suspect grabbed the money and ran away.

He is about 5'4" tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He is believed to be between 25 and 30 years old. He also has a beard.
