BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - LSU offensive lineman Ethan Pocic and running back Derrius Guice have been named SEC players of the week.

Pocic was named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the week. 
LSU's junior lineman did not allow a sack or pressure against South Carolina. He helped LSU rack up a season-best 624 total yards, which included 394 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns. LSU had two 100-yard rushers in Leonard Fournette (158 yards) and freshman Derrius Guice (161 yards).

Guice was named the Freshman of the Week.
The former Catholic High running back rushed for a career-high 161 yards and scored the first touchdown of his career against the Gamecocks. Guice averaged 10.1 yards on 16 carries.
