AMBER Alert issued for missing Texas girl, suspect's truck found in Louisiana

HOUSTON, TX (WAFB) -

Texas authorities issued an AMBER Alert for a 6-year-old girl who is believed to be with her mother’s ex-boyfriend and the truck he was last seen driving was found in Louisiana.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is asking people to be on the lookout for Alexis "Lexi" Johnson of Houston. Johnson is described as 3’7” tall and weighs about 63 pounds. She has brown shoulder-length hair. She has brown eyes and wears glasses.

Louisiana State Police also issued a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory on behalf of the sheriff’s office Monday morning.

Deputies said the child’s mother and her ex-boyfriend, Harvey York Jr., 40, of Zwolle, Louisiana, got into an argument. They added York was told to leave and left with the child inside his vehicle. York is not the child’s father.

York is described as about 5'7" tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.

Troopers reported the blue 2000 Ford F-150 with Louisiana license plate: F163202 was found in Sabine Parish. Johnson and York have not been located.
