BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Four were arrested after an internet prostitution investigation by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say they made contact with two people on a website that provided phone numbers and pricing information for sexual services.
The suspects met with an undercover officer in an undisclosed location, and were arrested once they began to undress.
One suspect, Brandi Donaldson, 25, was arrested during an operation about 7:16 p.m.
According to a probable cause report by the EBRSO, Donaldson said she was dropped off by two friends she met that night. The suspect said that the friends drove her to the location set up the meeting, and that they would split the money she made. Officers searching Donaldson's purse found a hypodermic needle and a metal spoon that was burnt on the bottom.
Investigators contacted the two other suspects in the car, 27-year-old Reese Plaisance, and 24-year-old Heather King. They told the authorities that they were just dropping off a friend they met that night.
Investigators ran the license plate of the vehicle they were in and saw it was registered to a stolen vehicle out of Houston, TX. Investigators also searched for the Vehicle Identification Number, which turned up as another stolen car out of Harris County, TX.
Brandi Donaldson was arrested on prostitution and possession of drug paraphernalia charges, and Reese Plaisance and Heather King were arrested with promotion of prostitution and illegal possession of stolen things charges.
A second suspect in the prostitution sting, Shevonne Allen, 32, was arrested during the same operation at about 8:50 p.m. She faces a prostitution charge.
