Former Baton Rouge councilman dies at 75
Earl Harrison Sr., age 75, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Our of Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at 7:15 p.m.
Harrison was a resident of Livingston, LA and native of Winnsboro, LA. He graduated from LSU Law School and was a former East Baton Rouge Parish City Councilman for Ward 2, District 3.
He retired as attorney for the East Baton Rouge Parish Public Defenders Office.
A visiting will take place at Springville Baptist Church, 22902 Hwy. 42, Livingston, LA, on Saturday, October 10, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Steve Arledge.
Harrison Sr. was a member of Springville Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, his family is asking that donations be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation at www.pdf.org.
Ascension Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
