Detectives hope someone saw missing woman or even helped her in some way

MAUREPAS, LA (WAFB) -

Authorities have provided updated information as the search continues for Stacy Baham, 33, of Livingston Parish, who was reported missing on August 17.

The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office reported it was learned Baham was seen driving in the Maurepas area on August 12 around 5 a.m. It is believed her vehicle ran out of gas around that time.

Detectives believe it was the last time anyone made contact with her. They want anyone who remembers seeing her, a stopped vehicle or remembers stopping to help her or letting her use a cell phone to call 225-686-2241 ext. 1 or 1-800-443-7681 ext. 1.

Investigators said Baham, who may be using the name Stacy Cook, was reported missing by her father after he learned she left her child with a friend and never returned to pick up the kid. They added they later learned she had broken up with her boyfriend and had taken his vehicle. The vehicle was found off LA 22 in Maurepas on August 29. It was abandoned and out of gas.

Baham is described as 5'5" tall and weighs about 130 pounds. The has brown hair and brown eyes.
