Metro councilmen hold town hall meeting about BRAVE program

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Two Baton Rouge Metro councilmen talked to the public Tuesday about crime in Baton Rouge and how the BRAVE Program is working.

Councilmen Buddy Amoroso and Joel Boe' held a town hall meeting Tuesday night at the Jones Creek Library after recent complaints about crime being on the rise in Districts 8 and 9. There was also talk about what is being done at the Kleinpeter Substation District.

A host of city leaders, including District Attorney Hillar Moore and East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff Sid Gautreaux, were invited to talk to the public about what is being done to combat crime.
