Livingston Parish officials looking for man who allegedly beat woman for 3 hours

LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (WAFB) -

The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office and Crime Stoppers are looking for information leading to the arrest of a battery suspect.

Ronald Temple, 28, is wanted for allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend for three hours on Tuesday, September 1 while under a protective order prohibiting Temple from contacting the victim. The LPSO says that Temple allegedly dragged his ex by the hair and threatened to kill her.

The report by LPSO says that every time the victim tried to escape, Temple would put his hands around her neck and start choking her. 

Eventually, the victim was able to escape and seek help. 

Temple is wanted for domestic abuse battery by aggravated assault, false imprisonment, domestic abuse battery by strangulation and violation of a protective order.
