Police seek identity of pharmacy armed robber

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Detectives are hoping the public can help them identify a man who robbed a pharmacy at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reported it happened at the Rite Aid on Jefferson Highway near Corporate Boulevard around 4:45 p.m.

Investigators said a man walked in, pulled out a gun and demanded money from the register. They added he left after being given an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.

The armed robber was described only as looking like he's about 50 years old. No height or weight information was given.
