HAMMOND, LA (WAFB) -

Police said they served an arrest warrant that resulted in the seizure of drugs, guns and money over the weekend.

The Hammond Police Department reported Michael Shawley, 19, of Hammond, was arrested Saturday.

He faces charges of distribution of marijuana, manufacturing marijuana "THC," possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Narcotics agents said they found marijuana, THC wax, a large amount of cash, several weapons (including an assault-style weapon), drug paraphernalia, packaging materials and scales.

They reported Shawley admitted he produced the THC wax from the marijuana.

They added in addition to the weapons, Shawley had a "cache" of ammunition, including six magazines.
