Baker man shot and killed while driving on I-10

Sunday morning shooting on I-10 was 'Not Random'

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating the murder of a man who was shot and killed while driving on I-10 Sunday morning.

Police say the victim, 25-year-old Herbert Williams of Baker, was driving on I-10 Eastbound near the Nicholson exit at 4:15 a.m. when a passing vehicle shot into his vehicle.

Williams, who received multiple gunshot wounds was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

None of the three passengers who were in the vehicle at the time of the shooting were hurt.

Police say there are no known suspects or motive at this time but they do not believe the shooting was random.
