THIBODAUX, LA (WAFB) -

Around 7:27 p.m. on Friday, September 4th, Thibodaux P.D. received complaints that Donald "Duck" Williams had threatened two people who supposedly owed him money.

While looking for Williams to speak with him, officers went to Williams’ home at 114 Iris Street in Thibodaux.

While knocking on the door, officers saw a man, 29-year-old Robert Whitely, through a window bagging marijuana at the kitchen table. Whitley answered the door, and officers learned that Williams wasn’t home.

Officers then secured the residence, and got search warrant. They recovered nearly $9,000 in heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine, and high grade marijuana from the residence. They also found a 1911 style BB gun with no orange tip, ammunition and magazines, cash and drug paraphernalia for cooking and bagging illegal narcotics.

The investigation is ongoing.

Whitley was arrested for possession with intent to distribute heroine, cocaine and marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of probation/parole.

He is being held at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on a $152,500 bond.
