A Thibodaux man with three warrants was arrested Friday.
Dreonta Robertson, 19, was arrested Friday afternoon after a tip came in about his whereabouts.
Thibodaux Police set up a perimeter around the business Robertson was reportedly inside. He fled out the back through the wooded area behind the business.
Robertson was seen hiding in a ditch before running again. Police finally caught him near his house in the 200 block of Sanders Street.
Robertson was wanted for aggravated assault with a firearm, violation of probation/parole, and contempt of court for aggravated flight from an officer.
Robertson allegedly shot at a vehicle with people inside in February of this year. Police say he was reportedly fighting with the passengers. No one was injured in the shooting. Joshua Johnson, Robertson's accomplice in the shooting, was arrested in March.
Robertson has been booked into Lafourche Parish Detention Center on a $250,000 bond and $1,444.50 fines and costs, along with a hold from Probation and Parole.
