BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Capital Area Transit System (CATS) will again offer Touchdown Express to LSU home games. It's the sixth year in a row for the service.
"We are happy to provide this service to the City of Baton Rouge and Tiger fans, both local and visiting," said CATS CEO Bob Mirabito. "We are also excited to introduce a new E-commerce feature on the CATS website that will allow us to sell passes electronically for the first time."
The bus service will pick up passengers at several locations downtown: Hollywood Casino, Hampton Inn downtown, Hotel Indigo, I-110 Underpass parking lot, Belle of Baton Rouge Casino, and L'Auberge Casino. The drop-off and pick-up site at LSU will once again be at Lot 406.
Touchdown Express will start running three hours before kickoff and one hour after the game ends.
Tickets cost $10 each and are available online or at the CATS Terminal on Florida Blvd.
They will also be sold on game days at some pick-up sites (L'Auberge Casino, Hotel Indigo, and the I-110 Underpass) and on the bus at certain stops (the Hampton Inn, Hollywood Casino and the Belle of Baton Rouge Casino). CATS reminds riders that exact change will be required for tickets bought on game day.
