PLAQUEMINE, LA (WAFB) - Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi says a woman is being treated for stab wounds in Plaquemine, LA after being stabbed multiple times Monday afternoon.
Just after 2 p.m. emergency officials were called to Roucher's Meat Market in Plaquemine, LA. Sheriff Stassi said the woman was at a boat landing on Bayou Road when she was stabbed. A woman driving down the road saw what looked like a car crash and pulled over to find the victim near the vehicle. The woman called police and took the victim to the meat market to meet up with an Iberville deputy. Deputies went back to try and find the car, but it was gone.
