BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect accused of intentionally breaking a restraining order.

Deputies arrested 32-year-old Alejandro Silva on August 21 for improper telephone communications after he wouldn’t stop calling someone he knew after the victim requested he not make any more contact.

Authorities got involved, asking that he not contact the victim, yet still continued to call the victim repeatedly, according to APSO Sheriff Wiley.

He was booked into the Ascension Parish jail and was later released. Allegedly, once released, Silva again began calling the victim consistently.

Silva is wanted for violation of a protective order. He can be identified by tattoos on his neck that say “Mata” and “Silva” on each side.

Anyone with more information on Silva’s whereabouts are urged to call the APSO at 225-621-6436, or Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867.
