BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Police arrested a juvenile for allegedly making a bomb threat at a school in Lafayette on Wednesday.
According to Lafayette Police Chief Jim Craft, a note warning that a bomb would explode was written on a bathroom wall in Lafayette Middle School. Students were evacuated to a nearby campus, and were returned after the school was searched and was declared safe.
An investigation into the note led to the arrest of a male juvenile student. The student was charged with Terrorizing, and was transported to the Lafayette Parish Juvenile Assessment Center.
