Popular paint-and-sip venture Painting With a Twist will hold a fundraiser in Baton Rouge to raise money for charter schools in honor of Hurricane Katrina's 10-year-anniversary.
The event is part of a national fundraiser that will benefit the Young Audiences of Louisiana Charter School. The event will be held in the Monjuni's parking lot on 711 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge from 7 to 9 p.m.
The event also has a Prairieville branch next to the Ricochet Pool Hall on 17540 Airline Highway from 7 to 10 p.m.
Attendees will paint Louisiana-themed artwork to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
Painting With a Twist was founded in Mandeville, and has donated more than $1.6 million to non-profit organizations across the country.
