BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A woman has been arrested after helping two men leave a work release program.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office says that at 6:30 a.m. Monday, 29-year-old Tecarie Joseph and 28-year-old Anthony Walker were dropped off at a business in East Baton Rouge Parish as part of the West Feliciana Parish Work Release Program.

Deputies say after the two men were dropped off at their assigned job site, Joseph's girlfriend, 26-year-old Brittany Dennis drove her car into the parking lot of the business. The two men got into the car and all three left the business.

Just after 9 a.m. Deputies located and arrested Joseph and Dennis in the 3000 block of Madison Avenue. Both later advised police that they dropped off Walker in the 2100 block of Lobdell Avenue and he was later arrested.

All three were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

Joseph and Walker have been charged with simple escape. Dennis has been charged with principal escape.

Dennis has since been released.
